Preventive Care Services
We emphasize preventive care to all of our patients and provide individualized
home care instructions. When you come to us as a new patient, we begin
our relationship with you by conducting a 1 ½ hour exam and consultation.
During this visit we will discuss your dental history and do an oral cancer
screening, a gum disease analysis, TMJ analysis, a soft tissue exam, and
a tooth-by-tooth analysis. We will then formulate a treatment plan, explaining
what needs to be done and why. We will use x-rays and photographs to illustrate
any problems we see. We believe in providing our patients with as much
information as possible!
In addition to regular checkups and cleanings, we offer the following
preventive care services:
- Dental sealants---an excellent and necessary adjunct to preventive
care, by filling in the grooves on teeth you can lock out bacteria and
prevent decay for an extended period of time
- Patient education---you can take home information on a variety of
topics
- Snoreguards
- Nightguards---are necessary to protect and extend the longevity of
work performed as well as reducing headaches and sleeplessness
- Mouthguards
- Breath treatment---we recommend BreathRx, a prescription breath control
medication
Restorative Services
We use superior, state-of-the-art products and materials for all of our
procedures. Beyond restoring good health to teeth, we look for solutions
that contribute to a tooth's longevity and will help to prevent future
problems. As practitioners of sedation dentistry, we offer our patients
pain-free oral sedation.
We offer the following restorative services:
- Tooth-colored fillings
- Porcelain veneers
- Whitening (in-office laser whitening)
- Bonding
- All-porcelain crowns, onlays and inlays
- Dental implants
Gum Disease
We offer state-of-the-art treatment methods to help prevent and curtail
gum disease. In addition, at every visit we conduct full mouth probes
during our routine examinations.
We offer the following services for gum disease care:
- Charting and diagnostic services
- In-office therapy (non-invasive soft tissue therapy)
Cosmetic Services

we take you on a tour of our Smile Design catalogue featuring a series
of Before and After photos that help illustrate the outcomes of various
cosmetic procedures. We also use SmileVision™ digital imaging to
give you a personalized forecast of what a particular procedure can

for your smile.

Dentistry is a technology-driven profession. Every year Dr. Dickson attends
over 100 hours of continuing education to keep up with advancements in
equipment, supplies, materials, and computer-assisted technology. Technology
provides accuracy, efficiency, predictability, and most importantly, offers
patients greater comfort and peace of mind.
